My first go at debates

Deklan and I were buddied up for practicing debates.  The topic we pulled out on the cards was Human Cloning should be legal.

I was arguing against this and Deklan was arguing for it.

Moot: Human cloning should be legal

You should be able to clone people                                                 

& animals because if your pet or                                          

Family member died you could clone                                            

Them,You could also like make it out                                   

Like you never die (Wouldn’t that be                            

fun!!). You could basically call yourself immortal.

I think it should not be legal because people

could use it for criminal activity.   

 Cloning may cause long term health problems,

and the cloned human could have unknown diseases 

and just die a painful death.  Also people may have their

DNA used without their permission like after they die.
